Where
it all
began

Rev. Noddy Sharma

From 2019 through to 2024, I have the privilege of being a part of some global research in both Gen Y and Gen Z. Having a child of my own spurred me on to think deeply about his future in this digital world.

Since social media hit in 2004, the next generation has been caught in algorithmic bubbles, chasing connection but finding isolation. Mental health is down, engagement is down, and identity feels scattered between the real world and the digital one.

Now, AI is moving faster than ever, and we can’t afford to wait decades to figure it out. We have to ask:

How is technology serving humanity?

How is it helping the next generation thrive?

It’s time to take action. To guide technology in a way that builds community, family, and true human connection. To lead, not follow, and create a world where people, not devices, decide the future.

Because being human isn’t about screens. It’s about relationships, with each other, with our world, and with our Creator.

The time to act is now.
